The Courageous Facilitator Programme
1. Introduction
1.1. LORE Consultancy Ltd ("we," "us," or "our") whose registered address is 24 Cornwall Road, Dorchester, DT1 1RX, registered in England: 04744654
1.2. These terms apply specifically to the Courageous Facilitator Programme, a 16-month-long development programme consisting of five six-day residential retreats
2. Programme Overview
2.1. The programme consists of five residential retreats held at Broughton Sanctuary, Yorkshire, on the following dates:
Retreat 1: 5th-10th March 2026
Retreat 2: 28th May-2nd June 2026
Retreat 3: 8th-13th October 2026
Retreat 4: 4th-9th March 2027
Retreat 5: 8th-13th July 2027
2.2. The programme fee of £8,995.00 + VAT includes:
All five retreats
Single occupancy accommodation with ensuite bathroom
Full board (all meals)
Use of venue facilities during personal time
2.3. The programme fee does not include travel to and from the venue, personal insurance, or any additional services not explicitly listed above
3. Joining the Programme
3.1. When you apply for the programme, we will let you know by email if you are accepted. That is when our agreement starts
3.2. This agreement, along with any additional terms in our acceptance email, forms our entire understanding
3.3. While we provide examples and descriptions of the programme, these are to give you an idea of what to expect and are not legally binding
4. Minimum Numbers
4.1. The programme requires a minimum of 8 participants to run
4.2. If minimum numbers are not reached by 28th February 2026, we reserve the right to cancel the programme. In this event, all participants will receive a full refund of all payments made
4.3. The programme has a maximum capacity of 16 participants
5. Pricing and Payment
5.1. The total programme fee is £8,995.00 + VAT (£10,794.00 including VAT at 20%)
5.2. Payment schedule:
Initial non-refundable deposit: £1,000.00 + VAT (£1,200.00 in total) - due upon acceptance
First instalment: £1,698.50 + VAT (£2,038.20 in total) - due by 28th February 2026. (This completes your first 30% payment of £2,698.50 + Vat)
Second instalment: £2,698.50 + VAT (£3,238.20 in total) - due by 15th September 2026
Final instalment: £3,598.00 + VAT (£4,317.60 in total) - due by 30th January 2027
5.3. If you are paying from overseas, please ensure the full amount in pounds sterling reaches us. All bank charges are your responsibility
5.4. If you have not paid in either part (mentioned above 5.2.) or in full by 30th January 2026, you will not be able to start the programme
6. Attendance Requirements
6.1. Participants must attend all five retreats to complete the programme
6.2. If you miss a retreat due to serious circumstances beyond your control (such as bereavement or serious illness), we will consider; on a case-by-case basis, whether you can join a future cohort for that specific retreat, subject to[DF2] :

Payment of a £100.00 administrative fee
Our absolute discretion
6.3. If you miss retreat 5 due to serious circumstances beyond your control (as mentioned in 6.2), the options are:
Discuss a pro-rata refund
Move to our next cohort’s retreat 5
6.4. Partial completion of the programme does not result in certification or qualification
7. Cancellations and Refunds
7.1. If you need to cancel your booking, you must notify us in writing. The following refund policy applies:
More than 6 months before Retreat 1: 100% refund of all payments made (minus the non-refundable deposit)
3-6 months before Retreat 1: 50% refund of all payments made (minus the non-refundable deposit)
1-2 months before Retreat 1: 75% refund of all payments made (minus the non-refundable deposit)
0-1 months before Retreat 1: No refund
7.2. It is your responsibility to ensure we have received your cancellation notice
7.3. All refunds will be processed within 30 days of your cancellation being approved
7.4. No refunds will be given for non-attendance, early departure from any retreat, or withdrawal after Retreat 1 has commenced (outside of extenuating circumstances)
8. Programme Changes by LORE (Consultancy Ltd)
8.1. We may need to make reasonable changes to the programme content to meet legal or safety requirements, or if we believe it will enhance your experience
8.2. We reserve the right to substitute facilitators as necessary, ensuring replacement facilitators have the equivalent experience and expertise
8.3. If we need to reschedule a single retreat due to circumstances beyond our control, we will:
Notify you as soon as reasonably possible
Offer alternative dates within 3 months of the original date
If you genuinely cannot attend the rescheduled date, we will allow you to attend that retreat with a future cohort (subject to availability)
8.4. If we need to reschedule multiple retreats or cancel the programme entirely due to circumstances beyond our control, we will provide a pro-rata refund for any uncompleted retreats in your series
8.5. We are not liable for any travel, accommodation, or other costs you incur if we need to reschedule retreat dates
8.6. If we change the venue for any retreat, even at short notice, we cannot reimburse your travel or accommodation costs
9. Transfers
9.1. Transfers to future cohorts are not automatic and are considered only in exceptional circumstances at our absolute discretion
9.2. Any approved transfer will incur a £250 administrative fee
9.3. Transfers are only available if future cohorts are scheduled and have available spaces
9.4. Any price difference between your original booking and the new cohort must be paid by you. No refunds will be issued if the new cohort fee is lower
10. Accommodation
10.1. Single occupancy accommodation with ensuite bathroom is standard for all participants
10.2. Room allocation is at our discretion and may vary between retreats
10.3. Rooms are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, with consideration given to any accessibility requirements disclosed to us in advance
11. Health, Dietary Requirements, and Accessibility
11.1. You must inform us of any health conditions, dietary requirements, or accessibility needs at the time of booking
11.2. We will work with the venue to accommodate reasonable requests but cannot guarantee all requirements can be met
11.3. If you have specific medical or dietary needs that cannot be met by the venue, it is your responsibility to make alternative arrangements
11.4. By attending the programme, you confirm you are physically and mentally able to participate in all activities
12. Participant Behaviour
12.1. You are expected to behave professionally and respectfully towards facilitators, venue staff, and other participants at all times
12.2. We reserve the right to remove any participant whose behaviour is:
Disruptive to the learning environment
Inappropriate or disrespectful
In breach of venue rules
Potentially harmful to themselves or others
12.3. Removal from the programme for behavioural reasons will result in no refund of any fees paid
12.4. Any damage you cause to venue property or facilities will be charged to you directly
13. Insurance
13.1. We strongly recommend you take out comprehensive travel and cancellation insurance to cover the full programme fee
13.2. Your insurance should cover:
Cancellation for any reason
Travel disruption
Medical emergencies
Personal belongings
13.3. We accept no liability for any losses you incur if you choose not to insure your participation
14. Intellectual Property and Confidentiality
14.1. All programme materials, methodologies, and content are our intellectual property
14.2. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or share our materials without our express written permission
14.3. You may use materials for your own personal development but not for commercial purposes
14.4. All participants agree to maintain confidentiality regarding personal information shared by other participants during the programme
15. Our Commitment to You
15.1. We will deliver the programme with reasonable skill and care
15.2. We will provide appropriately qualified and experienced facilitators
15.3. We will create a psychologically and physically safe and supportive learning environment
16. Our Liability
16.1. We are not liable for:
Business losses (if you are attending in a business capacity)
Losses caused by the venue or third parties
Travel disruption or costs
Losses that could have been avoided by taking out appropriate insurance
17. Force Majeure
17.1. Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performing their obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:
Acts of God (including severe weather, floods, earthquakes)
Pandemic or epidemic
War, riot, or civil unrest
Government action or restriction
Fire, explosion, or natural disaster
Venue closure or unavailability
17.2. If such circumstances arise affect a single retreat, we will reschedule that retreat as outlined in clause 8.3
17.3. If such circumstances make it impossible to deliver multiple retreats within 12 months, we will provide a pro-rata refund for any uncompleted retreats
18. General Terms
18.1. We may assign or subcontract our rights or obligations under this agreement.
18.2. These terms are governed by English law, and any disputes will be handled by English courts
18.3. If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect
18.4. Our failure to enforce any provision of these terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision
19. Data Protection
19.1. We will process your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws
19.2. We will use your data to:
Administer your participation in the programme
Communicate with you about the programme
Process payments
Provide attendance verification if requested
19.3. We will not share your data with third parties except as necessary to deliver the programme (such as with the venue) or as required by law
20. Your Agreement
20.1. By accepting your place on the programme and making payment, you agree to these terms and conditions
20.2. You confirm that all information you have provided to us is accurate and complete
Photography and Media Consent
21.1. During the programme, we may photograph and film sessions for quality assurance, marketing, and promotional purposes
21.2. By participating, you consent to being photographed and filmed. If you prefer not to appear in our marketing materials, notify us in writing before the first session/retreat
21.3. You may photograph the programme for personal use but must respect other participants' privacy and obtain consent before sharing images that clearly identify others
21.4. Programme photographs may not be used for commercial purposes without our written permission
